1. Complete your Skilbi profile:

It is important that you complete your Skilbi profile to allow students to truly understand what value you bring and more importantly know a little about you.

Critical components to a profile:

- Tagline

- Bio

- Get to know me

- Interest

- Skills

- Education

- Experience

2. Apply to become a mentor:

Every mentor goes through a short application process to ensure that we have the right mentors on the platform. If your application gets approved, you will receive an email confirmation.

3. Make your profile public:

We respect your privacy and by default, your profiles are private at the time you create your account. Please switch your profile to the public when your mentorship application is approved to ensure that students can see your profile.

4. Reply to coffee chats:

Students will reach out to you with a coffee chat request. Respond to the request that best meets your skills and interests.

5. Select a student to mentor:

A mentor can only have one mentee at a time. This does not mean that you cannot continue having coffee chats with other students. We recommend that you keep having these conversations as they can be impactful to students.

6. Scale Impact:

Continue having coffee chats and mentor new students to help them launch great careers.

7. Review and restart:

When you complete your mentoring experience, please review and we invite you to start a new experience.

Note:

The duration of any mentoring experience is decided by the mentor based on the SMART Goal presented by the mentee.
